UTG Multi-Shot Combat Tactical Shotgun Airsoft Shotgun is hard to pump.?
I have this gun only been out with it once and wondering if there is a way to make it easier to pump it. Would there be something to do or just have to use it more? Could it have to do with the shells do I need to lube them up to keep the spring working better since they are new?
I have used this shotgun before and like it very much! It is inherently hard to pump (depending on your strength) because the pump action loads 3 bbs instead of 1, so a firm and positive pumping action is required. What I suggest you do, is take Silicon Oil (can be found at many hardware stores for less than $10 for a large can) and use it to lubricate the shotgun and the shell magazines. Take all of the BBs out of the shell, and make sure you spray a little on the stopper at the top of the shell and a little inside. Also see if you can spray around the pump handle, wiping the excess off with a rag. Silicon oil is often used to clean and maintain airsoft replicas. Do not use WD-40 because it eats rubber materials, of which many airsoft components are made of.
I hope this helps you out! If you have any questions regarding my answer, feel free to contact me!
