im trying to enlist in the LA national guard and need to know if i qualify?
ok here is a list of my credintials and stuff i need to know if they accept.
i have a GED (i need to know if they are currently accepting GED's in the guard.
im in excellent physical conditon. i run on average 1 mile in about 8 minutes flat.
i can knock out 45 pushups in 60 seconds EASY
and all that. my latest asvab score was with active duty army and it was a 54.
im 18 years old. turn 19 in november.
i am not nor have i ever done or been on any drugs.
i dont drink.
i smoke but am quitting.
i am a male.
5'11"
150 pounds.
USMC tattoo on my left uper arm (not visible in short sleeves) (got it for my friend who passed in iraq)
basically i need to know if i qualify and if i dont what do i have to do to qaulify.
(high school diploma wont happen. i never went to the 9th grade due to family issues)

Probably. You can spell, you are clearly literate, healthy, balanced, and not daft (that last part is a particular problem for recruiters these days).
